Wines of Northern Italy - Quattro Leoni & Castello Di Gabiano

Marquee Selections is proud to present to you Quattro Leoni, hand-picked estate wines crafted using sustainable farming techniques from the hills of the Gabiano DOC in Piedmont, created with partner winery Castello Di Gabiano, voted the Best Barbera at VinItaly 2010! The history and heritage of this great family has a winemaking tradition that dates back centuries and wines with true depth of character. Coming soon look for our Castello Di Gabiano Reserve wines that showcase Barbera at is finest and some other lovely gems!  We offer you three selections, a delightful white wine made of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and the Cortese grapes from the DOC Monferrato Bianco a red wine made from 100% Barbera, the DOCG Barbera D'Asti and a Light red from the Monferrato Casalse DOC and a unique grape varietal Grignolino! All wines produced are of a DOC+ status and Gabiano itself covers one of the oldest and smallest DOC's in all of Italy. The estate itself covers over 260 Hectares of which 20 Hectares are currently planted as vineyards. All of the Quattro Leoni wines are hand-picked, estate-grown wines from the Gabiano vineyards.
