PALATE
Citrus flavors of lemon, lime, and grapefruit give this wine acidic undertones, which are sweetened with honeydew, kiwi, green apple, and pineapple. These clean fruit characters are softened with barrel-fermented flavors, adding complexity and length to a well-balanced finish.

Fruit-foward aromas of pineapple, melon, banana, and mango are complemented by hints of vanilla and coconut.

WINE NOTES
A very hot summer led to an early harvest with reduced crop loads, and these drought conditions produced highly concentrated fruit. Fermentation of the Chardonnay occurred in stainless steel tanks for about 11 days, except for a small portion which was fermented in new oak barrels to infuse subtle oak complexity. The wine was then fined and clarified before bottling.
