Blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, and other dark fruits are balanced by the spice of anise and black currant on the fore-palate with soft and fleshy plum fruit on the mid-palate. Sweet oak flavors enhance these fruit characters for a sweet and lingering finish.

Floral aromas of lavendar and violets harmonize with raspberries, strawberries, dates, and plums.

14.5% Alcohol

A very hot summer led to an early harvest with reduced crop loads, and these drought conditions produced highly concentrated fruit. Fermentation occured on the skins for about 12 days before pressing. The Cabernet Sauvignon was matured in French and American oak barriques, while the Merlot was stored in stainless steel tanks; the wine was then blended, clarified, and filtered.
