Marquee has discovered an outstanding family of wines being produced in the foothills of the Andes Mountains using a 100% organic process that are not just another "organic wine" that happened to taste good, but were GGGGRRRREEEEAATT wines that happened to be organic. Marquee is proud to offer five wines from the Caligiore family that all are organically grown and come directly from the province of Mendoza in Argentina. Two blends, Staccato and Grazioso in addition to our Reserve Syrah, Reserve Malbec and Reserve Bonarda are handcrafted by winemaker Gustavo Caligiore with the utmost attention to all details in the vineyard and winery. Caligiore is dedicated to a mission of delivering fine artisan wines using organic methodology and green winemaking practices. The Caligiore and Symphony Series wines are grown at high elevations in the Andes mountains, and come from a mixture of vines that range in age from 8 years old to 25+ year old and true "old vines" that are over 75 years old!!! The combination of clean/organic practices, rich "old vine" fruit, and superb winemaking from Gustavo Caligiore make this a series of Argentinean wines that you must stop and take notice of.
