Marquee Australian Wines head winemaker, Keith Brien, hails from the bustling city of Melbourne, Australia and Marquee therefore sources many of its wonderful Marquee Classic wines from regions across the state of Victoria and into the warmer river border regions in South Australia. Moving a layer deeper into the Marquee Australian wine lineup you find the Signature Series, a sophisitcated group of premium wines made unique by their regional and varietal characteristics. Choosing what we feel are the "Signature Grape or Grapes" for a particular region we bring you single vineyard offerings from such sites as the cool climate Yarra Valley or rich, luschious Shiraz from the McLaren Vale district of South Australia. Hand crafted in smaller lots, we have targeted unique areas continue to grow this branch of Marquee and are excited to Annouce the Fall Arrival of 100% Organic vineyards in South Australia! Rounding out our Australian lineup, don't miss Silver Wings, which Winemaker Keith Brien affectionalty calls his "5th child" (as it demands at least as much attention), this is an old vine Shiraz / Mourvedre blend from Central Victoria that will dazzle your taste buds and also cellar delightfully for years! Every bottle of Marquee is sealed with either the Stelvin Screwcap closure or the revolutionary new Diam cork closure (natural cork reconstitiuted) for wine that is guaranteed to be free of taint with a strong closure! |
