WINE NOTES
This single vineyard wine was 100% organically grown at over 3000 ft. above sea level in Mendoza, Argentina on the Caligiore Vineyards. Produced in an easy drinking style with "old vine" Malbec (80 year old vineyards) and bright/fruity Cabernet Sauvignon these two noble varietals combine to create a medium bodied wine. Staccato is a musical term that means "short vibrant notes"; this blend embodies that expression with intense (yet lithe) flavors.
REGIONAL DETAILS
Mendoza, Argentina is the home of South America’s most recognized wine region and Malbec is the King of Argentina with more hectares under production than any other single grape varietal. This wine captures the essence of the warm days and cool nights in the Central Mendoza region where Caligiore is committed to organic viticulture that utilizes science and advanced farming techniques for optimally ripe grapes.
