Christopher J. Cribb
Managing Director - GM Christopher J. Cribb, CSW, has worked for sister company Multi Service Corporation for over thirteen years and helped found Marquee Selections in 2002. Christopher began his career as an intern at MSC, establishing a business office in Lisbon, Portugal, and moved into project management, implementing multiple successful credit card and eCommerce programs. In 2000 Christopher began leading the eCommerce division of Multi Service and thereafter was promoted to the lead role of a new MSC division, Special Projects. He began his career in the wine world in 2002, helping to establish the exportation and importation business units of MS Australia PTY LTD and Marquee Australian Wines. As the business development manager for Marquee, Christopher created the infrastructure for Marquee from scratch, turning an idea into a functional business. In late 2003, Christopher, now fully bitten by the wine "bug," moved entirely out of the Special Projects division to concentrate on Marquee in the role of General Manager. Establishing a strategic plan, repositioning and re-branding the Marquee Selections as a leader in value for quality priced wines and developing an international sales network have helped Marquee grow and thrive in the past five years. Under Mr. Cribb's leadership, Marquee Selections - Green, Global, Grapes now has a truly global book of business and is recognized as a worldwide leader in the area of organic, sustainable and biodynamic agriculture.Christopher received his degree in International Business from Park University and has an accomplished IT and entrepreneurship background that has proved invaluable in his wine industry career. A Certified Wine Specialist (CWS) and Sommelier, Christopher loves international travel and has a very strong background in both Australian and American wine regions. A year abroad living in Nice, France, during university helped to spark his international interest and fueled his passion for vino. An avid social media maven, Christopher enjoys connecting with friends, reading / writing and spending time with his family. In terms of palate, Christopher has a love for sparkling wine / bubbly / Champagne from all over the world, enjoys big Italian reds, Barbera, Brunello, Barolo and Amarone, (especially with a well cooked steak) and finds himself drawn back to areas of the world experimenting with Grenache and Mourvédre blends.
